Although it may seem like a gimmick, it truly does work. When teaching positions, it is sometimes difficult to get the torch exactly where you want it by hand. Using the game controller, you can get the torch close to where you want it, and proceed to bump from there.  

Layout

Key Features

Bump or JogYou are able to bump the robot positions by the millimeter, or jog it in space freely. Bumping is great for precise corrections to points. 
Self MotionWith a 7-Axis arm, you are able to jog the elbow that is typically seen standing up on a 6-axis arm. While doing this, the TCP does not move, but holds its position in space.
Teaching and Setting Changes

Once you are in position to teach, simply double tap (A). There are three modes you can enter on the controller: world mode, TCP mode, and joint mode.
